First things first, I’m in love, the end…ha!

The SmashBox Be Legendary lipstick collection is new for Spring 2012 and the range is complete with 22 sumptuous shades and two finishes; matte and lustrous.

The texture of the packaging feels similar to that of NARS–a luxurious, rubbery velvet is the best way to describe it. And as you can see in the picture above, the lipsticks come in a square tube as opposed to the conventional round, bullet-shaped tube.

Infused with vitamins C, E & shea butter, the Be Legendary lipsticks are super moisturizing and lightweight. Mandarin is a pretty red-orange and reminds me a bit of MAC’s beautiful Lady Danger. Mandarin has a beautiful sheen and glides on a smooth as a gloss. Vivid, playful, bold; Mandarin is perfect for spring and summer. I’m so glad I’m no longer intimidated by bold lip color as I’d surely be missing out on a great set of lipsticks.

Also from the Be Legendary collection, I purchased SmashBox’s Fuchsia Flash which I think is absolutely fantastic as well. Mandarin, along with Nylon Nude, are my first two lipstick purchases from SmashBox and they definitely won’t be the last.

    The SmashBox Be Legendary lipstick collection is the Spring 2012 collection, I was curious if they have a Fall 2012 collection…I did try the Mandarin, for some reason it looks pink on me…not red-orange…but NARS Manhunter is interesting
