My name is Crystal Milton and I recently did my BIG CHOP. My last relaxer was Dec. 31, 2009 and my Big Chop Party was on Jan. 8, 2011. I wanted to share the experience with all those that supported me during my transition. I had no idea what kind of journey it would be but I have grown so much spiritually during this process!
The ladies that cut my hair head a group called Mind, Body, & Soul- Loving Your Hair From Inside Out. As they were cutting my hair the educated everyone about proper upkeep of not only your hair but your body so that your body will produce healthy hair. Everyone talked about their transition experiences and Big Chops and the things to look forward to. It was a night I will NEVER forget!
