My Top 3 Deep Conditioners

By Jenell — October 21, 2011

Deep conditioning treatments leave hair looking smooth and shiny, add moisture to your hair, and protect your hair from damage. Deep conditioning treatments can be part of a regular hair healthy regimen. Deep conditioners strengthen, detangle and help prevent split ends. Since deep conditioning treatments replenish moisture in the hair, if done regularly, they can prevent hair from becoming damaged when heat is applied during styling.

I recommend Deep Conditioning every week (if your schedule allows). But if not then every other week for sure!

These are my top 3 Deep Conditioners
Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque
Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise
Mizani True Textures Curl Replenish

Thanks! I've tried the Shea Moisture deep conditioner and love it. Out of the other two, which you you recommend more? I'm looking for a new deep conditioner.

Any would do. I've used the Mayo since forever and recently tried the Mizani and love it.

      Your hair must love you.
When you say you add your own DC to the mayo, what do you mean?

Have you tried any other DCs?

Though I like to experiment by making my own deep conditioners, my fav deep conditioner is straight olive oil. Just slathering on the olive oil and putting a baggy or plastic wrap on it for 30 min to hour helps me tremendously. Super soft.
