Aug 10, 2013 – Aug 16, 2013
If you didn’t join the challenge in the beginning I’m sorry, it’s too late. You can participate in the Fall challenge (Sept 1- Dec 1). Go Here to register.
Can you believe we have only 2 more weeks to go!?
I can’t believe that this challenge is almost over, like I feel like we just started the other day and June 1 is right around the corner. Please be ready for our final length check during week 13, the final week. If you have your hair in a protective style (braids, kinky twists, any other form of extensions, wigs, weaves etc.) then I understand you won’t be able to do a length check. For everyone else – GET READY!
Only members who posted a before picture and an after picture along with at least 9 weekly check ins will be in the running for the prize of $100 worth of SheaMoisture products!!!! .
Now, you know that area in the back of our heads where the hair tends to be fragile and because of this it is often rough, broken, and damaged. Many of us refer to this area as the KITCHEN! Well, I’ve recently started taking care of this area by applying castor oil and moisturizer to it and then twisting it up on its own. My plan is to help this area grow to its greatest potential by doing this from now on.
In the video below I discuss more in detail why I’m doing this and I show you how I’m doing it.
Check In Questions:
1. How would you describe your experience during this castor oil challenge? What have you learned?
2. How do you take care of your “kitchen”?
3. How did you do last week (week 10)? Did you follow through with your goals? Any challenges thus far?
Do you Tweet? Are you on Instagram? If so use hashtag #kccmCastorOil so we all can follow the convo and check out your pics.
Keep encouraging each other, you all are doing soo well!
