Be Fall Ready: Hottest Coats this Fall
Guess what time it is…cute coat time. Although it doesn’t get extremely cold in the fall, it still gets pretty nippy out. This means fashionistas like ourselves need ways to keep warm and stay trendy all at the same time. Amazingly, well designed coats are our answers. Coats have gone from the old school body-warming tool to warm and trendy conversation pieces. I personally love a coat with a girly, flowing silhouette but others may love capes, trench coats and many different styles. Here are a few that will be hot this fall!
Flirty and Girly
Flirty coats can do more than keep you warm during those chilly Fall nights, they can give you an amazing shape too! They are my favorite because they hug the body in all of the right places and give you a nice, curvy silhouette. They often have pleats and princess seams to add drama to the curvature of the coat and it also makes it flow with the movement of your body.
Capes
Cape style coats are revamped every year and just get better and better. They range from lose and free flowing to form fitting in all of the right places. Many of my favorite outerwear pieces this year are cape style coats. They are a must have for your fall wardrobe transitioning to winter wear. Definite closet staple!
Oversized
Oversized coats are taking the world by storm this fall. Many designers are giving their outerwear an interesting turn with more roomy and spacious silhouettes. These styles are not the most form fitting. As a matter of fact, they’re the complete opposite but just as popular. They give women’s bodies a more modern shape and more adventurous details throughout.
Down Fur
Down Fur coats have definitely been on the not so hot list but every few years they are revamped and as popular as they were when they were first introduced more than 10 years ago. Designers like Michael Kors, Moncler, and Burberry have redesigned down fur coats with new necklines, silhouettes, and lengths. Down fur coats are a classic way to stay warm and trendy all at once.
What’s your favorite coat?
