Bamboo & Hemp Seed Oil is a Winning Combination for Natural Hair

 by Natural Oils for Hair

You are probably wondering why bamboo has anything to do with oil and hair. A great deal as it turns out. The properties contained in the bamboo tree complement those of hemp seed oil and combined; they become a formidable mixture, which fortifies your hair.

The bamboo tree is one of the fastest growing plants in the world and grows in diverse climates across Asia, Australia, India, Africa and USA and parts of South America. It is stronger than steel and contains magnesium and zinc which aids in building receptor sites on the cells for vitamins A & D and improving the performance of the immune system but back to hair and oil.

Hemp Seed oil contains the most natural source of essential fatty acids and has a great balance of omega 3 & 6 as well as high levels of chlorophyll. Additionally, it has a high silica content and contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D, and E. Hemp seed oil also falls into the ceramide family which helps to soften hair, keep the cuticle flat and protect hair from damage and loss of protein aka keratin.

So how do you combine it to make it work for you?

How to Make Bamboo Infused Hemp Seed Oil

You will need a few sticks of fresh bamboo, hemp seed oil and a clear glass jar. Rinse the bamboo sticks, then cut into pieces. Allow the moisture to evaporate over a few days. When it’s ready, place the chopped bamboo sticks into the glass jar, cover with hemp seed oil and place in a dark cabinet or preferably, the refrigerator. Allow to infuse for 2 – 4 weeks then drain out the oil and it’s ready for use. Keep the mix in a dark bottle and store in a cool place or in a refrigerator.
