Menswear is definitely not a new trend this season. It has been around for a while and it looks like it is here to stay! There are so many ways to interpret this trend, and the options are truly limitless. I like to keep my look simple, and I always consider my body type when deciding how to translate a trend like menswear into my everyday work life.
One of the easiest ways to test drive the menswear style is to head straight to your closet, or local thrift store, and pick up a classic button-up shirt. This shirt features long sleeves, a collar, and wrist cuffs, which is definitely inspired by the “boys”. I love to see my husband in a shirt like this, but us ladies can pull it off too! A men’s style shirt sends an androgynous vibe, and the best part of it all is that you don’t have to spend a lot of money because most of these items can be found in your own wardrobe.
I like to add a touch of femininity, so I paired this shirt with a pencil skirt instead of traditional trousers. I would steer clear of menswear clothing that is oversized or too baggy, to ensure that you avoid looking unkempt. This trend really requires a look that is polished and “put together.”

I have so many ideas for menswear this fall!
How will you be wearing this trend this season?
