I am very honored to have had an overwhelming response to our Spring Castor Oil Challenge. The challenge ran from March 1, 2012 through to June 1, 2012 and over the 13 week period over 150 women joined in on a weekly basis to share their experiences with Castor Oil as well. During this time we also shared information about our personal lives and journeys to encourage a strong sisterhood bond.
Results after using castor oil varied from woman to woman because we all had different goals. Many of us united to grow longer, thicker, and fuller hair, but there were many amongst us that just wanted to finally commit to taking care of their hair on a consistant basis.
At the conclusion of the challenge I asked all of you to share your feedback on this challenge and most of the feedback was positive. I’d like to highlight a few participant comments:
Tazzee: “I’m really thankful for this challenge. This challenge helped me to pay more attention to my hair – doing something healthy to it daily. I also enjoyed the rapport with the other challengers…”
Anitaalcarroll: “I love castor oil. It has smoothing properties on the hair shaft. My bald spots have filled in…”
Valerie: “I would recommend castor oil to all ladies even relaxed, if they want to improve the over all health of there hair. I have recommend it two family members and they are seeing results. I really did not notice any difference in length until I shot the photo’s. I could not not beleive my eyes. My hair stay moisturize all week. Overall LOVE IT”
Monique Bennefield: “I really love what castor oil does for my hair, and I will continue to use it as a staple product. I am really glad i joined that challenge,it was great communicating with other naturals, and I can’t wait for the summer challenge.”
