I LOVE smells and scents. I love the way new shoes smell, or the way the baby section smells in the store. I have a serious stash of scented candles, and each room in my home has an oil plug. I even have those automatic scent sprays!
You can imagine my excitement when my candle from The Bronx Naturals arrived. The Bronx Naturals offers 100% unique fragrance blends. Candles are all natural soy wax and the glass container can be used as a drinking glass once the candle is gone. Both added pluses for my journey towards “clean living”. Also noteworthy is that 10% of all sales are donated to The Bumi Sehat International which helps mothers in 3rd world countries give birth to healthy children.
Upon opening the box, a lovely rose scent was emitted (a definite plus since I had yet to light the candle!) I decided to place the candle in my bedroom because of the cute pink label and the smell. I thought it would compliment my reading/meditation area in my bedroom.
The name of this candle is Velvet Rose. It reminds me of a pink bouquet of roses that my husband gave me when we were dating-smells the same too! Within just a few minutes, my bedroom was enhanced with the scent of fresh roses.
If you know anything about candles, you know that a GOOD, long-lasting candle usually falls in the $10-$20 price range. This candle costs $16.50, which is an extremely fair price considering that it is natural and hand poured.
Loved this candle! Later I decided to put the candle to the TRUE test. I wanted to know if the candle could rid my kitchen of the organic spinach AND the black beans I cooked. Results? Again… ROSES! Definite keeper!
