Price: $5.99
Size: 8 oz

Product Description:
Significantly increases moisturization, curl definition, shine and strength of your natural hair. Motions Naturally You Define My Curls Creme is a luxuriously rich creme-gel, formulated with shea butter, coconut oil and avocado oil—that defines curls, smooths the cuticle and reduces frizz. Unique crème-gel texture is lightweight and enhances moisture to deliver the ultimate in soft, separated curls.

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Isoceteth 20, Glycerin, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Oleth 2, VP/VA Copolymer, Methoxy PEG/PPG 7/3 Aminopropyl Dimethicone, PEG 90, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, Panthenol, VP/Methacrylamide/Vinyl Imidazole Copolymer, Hexyl Cinnamal, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Limonene, Linalool, Alpha Isomethyl Ionone, Citronellol, Hydroxyisohexyl 3 Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Citric Acid, Triethanolamine

My Experience:
I used this curl defining creme as a wash n go product. I cleansed my hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove all other products from my hair. I then towel blotted the hair until it was damp rather than soaking wet. I sectioned my hair into six sections, applied a about a nickel sized amount of the creme to the palm of my hand, rubbed my hands together and massaged it through out each section. When I first applied the product I noticed it seemed like it was going to start forming suds… it even felt like it. I tossled my hair then applied a very small amount to the edges of my hair for control and definition and the soapy look and feel went away.

Fragrance:
The fragrance reminded me of the Motions shampoo.

Results:
The product performed really well in living up to its claims. My curls were defined, separated, soft and bouncy. The product was also very light weight and non-greasy. Which is a plus!

Moisture:
My hair felt soft and moisturized even two days later, this is definitely a product that lives up to its claims.

Price:
I definitely feel that the product is well worth the price. You get a decent amount for what they charge and a little goes a long way which makes it even better.

Final Thoughts:
The fact that this product is lightweight and doesn’t dry my hair out gives me a reason to continue to use it to define my curls. When applying the product it does look and feel sudsy like shampoo. It almost looks like it’s about to lather but that effect goes away once it dries and the end result outweighs that issue.

Have you tried it? What did you think?

I use this for my twists. It’s really good, but I’ve noticed that after the second day of wearing my twists I get alot of frizzies. I wrap my hair up in the same scarf every night, but it’s like the gel aspect kind of dies after a couple hours.

Oh no, from my experience shampoos and conditioners are a bit different then styling products. Like they are washing products and sometimes that doesn’t agree with our hair, but styling products are different because they are used in hair styling and care. Make sense?
