Product Review: Mary Kay Satin Lips Set

Product Name:  Mary Kay Satin Lips Set

Price:  $18.00

Size:  0.3 oz (each)

Product Description:  Satin Lips Lip Mask contains miniature buffing beads that gently exfoliate dead surface cells that cause lips to appear dull and lifeless.  Satin Lips Lip Balm helps moisturize dry, rough lips and clinical results show with one application, lips are moisturized for up to six hours.

My Experience: It was very easy to use and takes less than five minutes to complete the process.  I applied the lip mask to clean lips and let it stay on for two minutes.  Afterwards, I wiped it off in a circular motion with a warm washcloth.  Then, I applied the lip balm and I was done.

Mary Kay Satin Lips SetMy Results:  Wow!  That was my first reaction after using this set.  My lips felt amazing afterwards.  They were very soft and when I applied my lipstick, no creases at all.

Price:  The price is not bad considering you receive two products for one price and you need a very small amount of each during each application.  It’s important to remember that these products can actually be purchased individually.

Final Thoughts:  I remember wondering why I would get creases in my lips when I would use lip stains or matte lipsticks.  After doing some research, I found out that your lips need exfoliating; however, there aren’t many products designed for exfoliating lips and not just moisturizing.  Therefore, finding this product and the incredible results is AMAZING!

The only thing I noticed is that I don’t feel that the entire set will be necessary for everyone.  The Satin Lips Lip Balm felt like a regular lip balm. If you are like me, I always keep lip balms handy so this portion of the set wasn’t necessary for me; however, the Satin Lips Lip Mask is a definite must-have.

Have you exfoliated your lips before?
