Nourishing Hair & Body Butter (Marvelous Mango) - Nourishing Hair & Body Butter is made from the best butters & oils nature provides, it will moisturize, revitalize, heal, and protect your hair and skin. The lightly scented fresh mango scent will have you thinking of a tropical island! This butter smells delightful, please do not ingest, for external use only.

Soothing Herbal Gel (Eucalyptus & Lavendar) - Herbal Soothing Gels are infused with organic calendula, burdock root, horsetail, & nettle and will provide your hair with great hold, excellent for defining your natural curls, wash-n-gos, two strand twists, or smoothing your edges. This hair gel will provide a medium hold depending on your hair type! The oils will help seal in the moisture and the organic slippery elm bark and marshmallow root will help condition your hair. My Experience:

This is a smaller company so they do have a disclaimer on their website that fulfillment can take 5-7 business days and then your shipping time on top of that. It took 7 days for me to receive my product from the time I ordered.

day 1 twist out

I used the hydrating Shealoe conditioner as my detangling conditioner. It has medium slip & did an ok job of detangling my hair. I had to use a lot of the product to get through my detangling process.

I loved the moisturizing Shealoe leave in. It’s a thicker consistency and I only needed a little. I was able to smooth it and comb through my hair easily.

On top of that I added the nourishing butter to seal in the moisture before I added the Herbal Gel. The butter easily smoothed on my hair as well and left my hair feeling soft. (SN: I also use it after my shower on my body and it keeps my skin moisturized all night long!)

day 4 twist out

Then I added the soothing herbal gel. This gel is sorta slimy & very thin. OK, so for all my Ecostyler users, don’t be alarmed. I know you’re used to the thick consistency of that gel. From what I’ve seen on Youtube, it’s a similar consistency of flaxseed gel. I only used a little on each twist. Initially I was little concerned about whether this would hold my 4b/4c hair. After I twisted my hair I checked one in the back that was almost dry and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the definition. The gel provided a flexible hold that created super definition.

day 6 twist out

After using all of these products, my hair was super defined, was soft, and had movement all week! I experienced no flaking and I did not have to reapply any product all week. I do retwist every night & I got 7 days out of this twist out! I could have gotten more but I needed to protect my hair so that it wouldn’t constantly be exposed to the colder weather that we’re having.

Fragrance: The Mango Hair & Body Butter & Herbal Gel (Eucalyptus & Lavender) were refreshing but not heavily scented.

Moisture: Both the Moisturizing Shealoe Leave In and the Nourishing Hair & Body Butter are ph balanced between 4.5 and 5.5. My hair was moisturized and soft all week.

I’ve been wanting to try this for a long time! Think I’ll purchase it next week but I really dislike how long it takes the get the product to ship. Ughh… grinds my gears lol.

I ordered the sample pack a month ago and I can totally agree on the moisture and the softness of Koils by nature. My hair is soo soft and shiny that I have completely discontinued my use of my other butters and leave-ins lol. Great natural product line!
