By Jenell — July 07, 2012

Product Name: Jane Carter Solution Condition & Sculpt
Price: $9
Size: 8 oz

Product Description:
Condition & Sculpt is a liquid sculpting lotion that is ideal for taming unruly curls. Perfect for wash and wear curly hair and curly weaves. Use a little for light hold and a lot for maximum hold. Condition & Sculpt smoothes the hair’s cuticle, providing phenomenal shine. It is a terrific product for all hair textures, and is great for those “ponytail” days!

Ingredients:
Deionized Water, Anthemis Noblis Flower (Camomile), Symphytum Officinal Leaf (Comfrey), Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail), Urtica Dioica (Nettle), Rosemarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf, Humulus Lupulus (Hops), Lawsonia Inermis (Henna), Hydroxypropyltrimonium hydrolyzed wheat protein Certified Organic Essential Oils: Lemon, Vanilla extract, Panthenol, Polyquarternum 11, Phenoxyethanol.

JCS Condition & SculptMy Experience:
I’ve used this styling product to give my define my hair and give some hold to my curls for wash-n-gos. After co-washing and finger detangling my hair, I applied the product to damp hair.  While shaking my head and hair around, I shook the bottle to allow the product to drip out all over my hair.  Then I shook my hair and also combed the product thru with my fingers to evenly distribute.

Fragrance:
The fragrance was very light and floral, I liked it.

Results:
As soon as I appied this product, my curls popped and became defined. My hair did not feel crunchy when it dried due to the fact that this product is very light on the hair. Because this product is a liquid, I didn’t need to apply as much as I would if I were applying a thick gel. This product also left my hair very shiny but not oily to the touch.

jane-carter-solution-condition-and-sculpt-8oz-1Moisture:
This product leaves the hair very soft and conditioned due to the light hold.

Price:
Since I did not need very much to get the job done, considering all of the hair on my head, I feel that this product is worth it. I think it will take me a very long time to use the entire bottle.
Final Thoughts:
This product is definitely one I will be using in the future, especially during the summer months when I want to wear more wash-n-go styles but don’t want the weighed down feeling that some gels leave me with.

Have you tried it? What did you think?

Great review! I wish I had the type of hair for a Wash & Go, but I have to stick to my trusty twist outs.
