My Experience:
I used this conditioner for my co-wash. I rinsed my hair with warm water and then applied the conditioner from root to tip. I made sure that the conditioner was in each section of the hair and finger detangled as I applied. After applying, I continued my shower wearing a shower cap for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, I rinsed my hair and again finger detangled, patted dry with a towel, and sealed my hair with coconut oil.
Fragrance:
I am one of those girls that uses products that smell appealing and steer away from others and this one is definitely a keeper, based on aromatics! The smell is like a “clean” fragrance, but also has a hint of vanilla and isn’t too overpowering, which is another contingency for me!
Results:
After reading the name of the product I was probably expecting more than the average consumer, especially since my whole intention of going natural is to have more “quenched” looking hair. This conditioner gave me EVERYTHING I was looking for. In fact, I couldn’t help looking at my hair and admiring the results even 2 days later. I never thought a conditioner could help my hair as much as this did.
Moisture:
After rinsing, I didn’t see too much of a difference, but the shock came after styling. I chose to flat twist with some styling foam because I was running a 10k the next day. I thought this would at least help my hair be manageable, but the moisture was AMAZING…even after sweating through ATL summer head and running 6.2 miles, I was so happy to see my hair so healthy and manageable. My husband often tells me my hair looks “thirsty”, but he actually complemented me on how shiny and soft it felt ( I think that makes this product even more incredible). Part of my reason for transitioning is to help my hair’s moisture “situation” and I am definitely going to add this to my co-wash routine.
Price:
This conditioner is decently priced and for me I am one of those people who is always looking for a deal. Trust me when I say this conditioner is worth EVERY red cent you’ll spend. I have some of the most dry-looking hair, due to the color and many textures it has naturally, and I am still in awe of how this conditioner worked for me.
Final Thoughts:
Once again, I am the girl who is often looking for products that smell good and work and this product left me NOTHING to complain about. I am so happy to have tried the conditioner and it will happily make a home in my conditioning rotation!
Have you tried it? What did you think?
