My Thoughts:

The As I Am Coconut CoWash has been grabbing my eye every time I go into Sallys beauty supply. My hair loves coconut oil because coconut oil is the BOMB!

Seriously though, coconut oil is like a naturals best friend. Just the right amount of protein, vitamins and minerals to keep my natural hair soft, supple and shiny!

I finally decided to pick this up and I’m so happy I did. My CoWash session was very enjoyable. My hair was soft, clean and very moisturized. There’s so much product in this jar that I can’t imagine ever finishing this product. For a more thorough review, please watch the video.

  I heard from someone who said the same thing, she said she continued to use it alone with no shampoo a few more times and then things were better. Not sure if that will work for you, but it’s worth a try.

I was not to fund of it because it made my hair feel hard when rinsing. I tried using it as a deep conditioner and leaving it on for hours and it felt a lil better, but not much of a difference. The smells is great and I will continue to use it up until its gone, but I will not buy it again. I get better results using tresemme naturals, V05 milk moistures, herbal essesnce hello hydration, or suave almond and shea butter.

  I agree 100%! To me it wasn’t worth the $7 I spent on it, when I get a better co-wash with Tress Semme Naturals for $3. Also, I wonder who’s idea it was to put the product in a tub as opposed to a bottle since most ‘naturals’ wash their hair in the shower. The tub was cumbersome in the shower for me. I wouldn’t buy it again either.

  This is a Cleansing comditioner, it has cleansing agents in it which means its strong enough to remove dirt and grease thoroughly but gentle enough that it doesnt strip as a shampoo would. It is not a deep conditioner or a regular conditioner, so of course it would make your hair hard at some point, its not meant to be left in for hours. Nor is it comparable to our cheapish moisturizing condish ( which dont cleanse)

I love this product! After receiving the free samples, I was able to do 3 cowashes using the As I Am Coconut CoWash sample (I have a ReallyTWA…lol). It feels great & smells great.

I love love this product, it really cleanses you sclap nad leaves my hair feeling soft in my opinion so by the time I actually do the loc method my hair feels well moisturized

I was totally about to give up on being natural because I couldn’t find the right products! Any product that allows me to comb through my hair while wet(it would tangle when relaxed) is a winner. I would definitely recommend As I Am Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner,it does what it promotes!!!
