Letter from the Editor – New Things this Season

By Jenell — April 17, 2012

Hey Naturalistas!

Most of you know that my personal blog has now transformed into a website and online magazine for women with kinky, curly, coily hair.  You can always read the review from my launch party and check out the amazing photos.

I am so proud of how far this website has come. I thank all of you for your continuous support and I look forward to continuing to optimally grow and expand this website. With this transition from a blog to a website, I think it is important to incorporate other weekly topics, in addition to hair discussions, because being natural is a lifestyle that we all live.

While the root (pun intended) of KCCM will always be natural hair, a few days a week, I think that it is beneficial to expose you, my curlfriends, to other elements that influence the natural lifestyle.  Remember, hair is closely linked to beauty and fashion and health is directly related to hair growth. In that spirit, I have added three new categories to this website. These categories are Fashion, BeautyFUL, and Health & Hair Growth. I know that the need to provide this information has always been there and I think that you lovely ladies are ready to hear and learn about topics that fully discuss the essence of who we are as women.

Let us work together to take KCCM into this new year, more informative, more cutting-edge, and more fun than ever.

Love you all,
Jenell (BlakIzBeautyful)
