I’ve been getting many requests on how to make my Shea Butter Mix because I talk about it in many of my videos and my hair is always super shiny.
So I decided to share with everyone.
It’s super easy.
JenellyBean’s Shea Butter Mix
* 1 container raw shea butter.
* 1 cup coconut oil (not the fake grease coconut oil- u need the kind that comes in a glass jar- the real stuff)
* 1/4 cup EVOO
* 1/4 cup Castor Oil
Mix oils and shea butter very well.
Let sit until it solidifies into a nice creamy mix. Or if you’re impatient like me, put in freezer until it solidifies, then remove.
Store in a container with a lid. I use an old product jar or you can use a tubaware jar. Use or throw away within a year because shea butter can go rancid.
When using this mix, I suggest you follow my regimen. You don’t have to use my exact products, but follow the steps. (After wash/cowash, apply oil, then leave in conditioner, then this shea butter). Apply shea butter mix from root to tip and smooth through with comb or brush then twist twist twist!
All of the recipes I’ll list on my site do not contain any artificial preservatives or synthetic ingredients, so preparations containing perishable items should be refrigerated immediately. Keep track of which ingredients you use because some ingredients have a limited shelf life.
