Green Smoothie Recipes
I drink green smoothies for breakfast every day. I’m never hungry after drinking them. And for whatever reason, it takes me about an hour to two hours to drink 16oz of this smoothie. This helps with my metabolism.
When I make my green smoothies there are few key ingredients that are in ALL my smoothies. While there a bunch of ingredients that change.
Key Ingredients I use: Spinach, VEGA*, Ground Flaxseed, Milk, Water. I use the milk to turn my green juice into a creamy smoothie. And I use water to thin out the mixture. My hubby likes them very thin, similar to a Naked drink, so I will usually do a few taste tests until I get it thin enough for him.
Other Ingredients I use: Banana, peach, pear, strawberries, mango, berries, broccoli
I purchased the Vega One Nutritional Shake (natural flavor) from Vitacost, they make many varieties. I’m excited because I can add this to my morning drinks.

This was Thursdays (8/16) recipe! (my least favorite)
Fruit & Veggie #GreenSmoothie. The berry seeds are a bit much for me. But overall not too bad. 1 Mango, 1Tomato, 1 C Berries, 1 large handful of Spinach, 2TBsp Flaxseeds, 1 Tbsp Agave Nectar.
Today’s #greensmoothie (8/20) yummy!
1 banana, 2 peaches, 6 strawberries, 1 pear, large handful spinach, 2Tbsp flaxseed, 3/4 C milk, 1 C water.
This makes about 40 0z

Today’s #greensmoothie (8/21) “Tropical Passion”
Huge chunk of fresh pineapple, 1 mango, 9 strawberries, 3 broccoli florets, 1 large handful spinach, 2 Tbsp flaxseed, 3/4 C milk, water
This made about 42oz. I drink 16oz and hubby drinks 16 oz, so there’s enough for a little tomorrow.

I made a small batch today.
1 large piece of pineapple, 1 banana, 1 peach, handful of spinach, 1 scoop VEGA, 1 Tbsp Ground Flaxseed, 1/2 milk, water
This makes about 32oz

A little grainy. I think it’s the broccoli. But it’s good. The banana is really ripe too!
1 banana, 1 peach, 1 pear, 1 large chunk pineapple, 7 broccoli florets, 1 scoop VEGA, water.

Today’s #greensmoothie (8/23)
Yum yum yum. My first time using the VEGA veggie supplement! VEGA has an herbal taste. It’s not bad, but it has a taste.
1 banana, 1peach, 1 pear, 10 strawberries, 1 large handful spinach, 1 scoop VEGA, 2 Tbsp ground flaxseed, 1/2 C milk, water.
This made 42oz.
Today’s #greensmoothie (8/26) is sooo good. I really thought the soy would make it taste crazy, but it didn’t. I’ve been advised by Bella Kinks and SunShine’s Natural & Loving It to NOT use Soy milk. I will switch to coconut milk when this jug is done because I’m allergic to almonds, so no almond milk for me.
