If you didn’t join the challenge in the beginning I’m sorry, it’s too late. You will be able to register for the Fall Challenge in Aug.
Last week was length check week! Most of you who are wearing your hair loose are seeing great results! Those of you who haven’t noticed results, we have 2 more months to see improvement. Use the next two months to focus more on your use of castor oil.
Castor Oil Moisturizes the Scalp & Thickens Hair
Omega 6 fatty acids in castor oil help keep your scalp from drying out, while regular use of castor oil may encourage thicker hair growth. Unrefined castor oil is preferred over refined types, because it contains more nutrients and healing properties. Use castor oil for hot oil treatments and scalp massages to stimulate hair growth and keep your hair soft and manageable.
Because my hair is in a protective style, my hair regimen is slightly different then when my hair is loose. Moisture is ALWAYS important, no matter how my hair is styled and when my hair is in extensions, moisture is an even more important issue, because the extensions dry up my hair and scalp very easily. I’ve been massaging castor oil on my edges, on my scalp, and I have a moisturizing mix that I’ve been spritzing the length of my twists with. This mix is comprised of coconut jamaican black castor oil, SheaMoisture Restorative Conditioner and water.
In the video below I share my suggestions on how to build a healthy hair regimen. If you have been struggling getting your moisture levels on point, this video will be helpful. This video will also be very helpful to those of you who are newly natural and/or need support establishing an easy to follow hair regimen.
