Beauty Subscription Services are my Summer Must Have!

Summer, Summer, Summertime (insert DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince).

After going natural in Fall 2011, I needed a break from my makeup monotony. One day I ran across this new service called CurlBox. Hmmm….Interesting concept: a subscription service for natural hair products. Then I wondered, “Are there other subscriptions for other beauty products?” Who would know? My girl Gew-Gew (Google) so, I immediately subscribed to BirchBox, GlossyBox, and MyGlam Bag .

These Beauty boxes have introduced me to products that have quickly become my “two miles an hour so everybody sees you” (…well me) favorites:

*Dior Diorshow Extase mascara
*NYX Round Lipstick(Eucalyptus LSS639)
*I Coloniali Tibetan Shower Cream with Rhubarb
*Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner,
and many more fabulous things based on my beauty profile.

If I really love a product I can usually purchase it for a discounted price from their website–I love the convenience, and the excitement when unboxing. The subscription boxes vary in cost ranging from $10 to $21 , and normally one of the full-sized products in the box retails for more than the monthly fee. For example in my BirchBox this month it included a full-sized Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner that retails for $15 and the subscription is $10. When this happens it makes it all worth while–WINNING.

There are so many others services that I’m looking forward to trying at some point like CurlKit, My Brown Box, and PopSugar, just to name a few.

      It happens to be one of my favorites. I love that each month the products come in a different make up bag. I’ve gotten some great lipsticks with awesome colors and so moisturizing. A matter of fact the NYX lipstick I mentioned in the post you would probably love it because its such a beautiful fuschia color. Let me know how you like it
