Apple TV a Summer Fave!
It’s summer. There’s a heat advisory, so no outside activities for you. You walk in your home, and you are faced with drama… You know the drama I’m talking about… Yep… the fight between DirecTV & Viacom!!
Ok… so the conflict between these two has been resolved, but like any rocky relationship… You need a backup plan…
My summer favorite is Apple TV!
I’m not a fan of Redbox, and all the Blockbuster video rental stores are long gone from my area. I’d been in search for some way for me to rent newly released movies. That’s when I stumbled across Apple TV. The Apple TV allows you to watch your favorite movies, TV shows, & sports on your widescreen TV.
How does it work?
Well, your Apple TV is linked to your iTunes account. Once you have your iTunes account linked, you will be able to access all the apps.
Let’s say you want to rent a new movie, such as Wrath of the Titans. All you have to do is click on the “Movies” app. You can watch a preview, and then click “Rent”. The money is taken from your iTunes account, and in about an hour, you can watch your show! Not only can you watch movies, but you can listen to music, and even watch your favorite You Tubers on your widescreen TV!
Another great feature is the ability to link your iPad and iPhone to the Apple TV. You can use your iPhone or iPad as a remote control device. Don’t have time to finish watching a movie? No problem… simply finish watching the movie on your iPhone or iPad. Apple TV is just $99, and is available at Best Buy, or online. If you have an HD TV, you will need a HD cord, which is also available at Best Buy.
